Prep: 4-year letterwinner for the Del Norte HS Knights, coached by Ben White… Earned honorable mention All-Metro honors at his third base position as both a junior (2011) and senior (2012)… Hit .321 as a senior… Also saw time at catcher.

Club: Played for the American Legion Post 13 squad, coached Danny Gonzales in 2011 and 2012… That team was based in Albuquerque… Led teams to Tucson 4th of July Invitational Championship and state runner-up finish in 2011… Had played for the Las Cruces based American Legion Post 10 squad in 2010.

Academics: Is majoring in pre-physical therapy… Graduated from Del Norte HS in 2012... Was on the high school honor roll in 2012.

Off the Field: Born 08/03/93… Son of Stephanie Madrid and Sam Narvaez… Brother Tyler is 16… His great-great-great aunt Babe Didrickson Zaharias was a professional golfer and the Gold Medalist in the javelin at the 1932 Olympics… His Great-Great aunt Penny Zavichas was a professional golfer on the LPGA tour… His Great Grandmother Barbara Zavichas has been inducted into the New Mexico Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame… Enjoys playing video games and watching movies… Favorite movie is The Sandlot… Favorite food is Italian… Favorite professional sports teams are the Boston Red Sox and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
