Erika Ecsedy

Adams State University Head Coach Dervin Taylor has announced that former ASU standout Erika Ecsedy will be joining the team in 2016 as an assistant coach.

Ecsedy is a 2015 graduate of Adams State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. She is currently persuing a Masters of Science Degree in Exercise Science. She also finished her undergraduate degree with a minor in coaching.

Ecsedy, who was a player for the Grizzlies from 2011-2015, has earned several awards including First Team All-Regional (2015), First Team All Conference (2013, 2014 and 2015), Dean's Honor Roll (2011, 2014 and 2015), Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All Tournament Team (2013 and 2015) and Second Team All-Regional (2012).

Including several work study positons at Adams State, Ecsedy served as a coaching aid for the Grizzlies' junior varsity program in 2015 and also served as a youth baseball and softball umpire for the Alamosa Parks and Recreation department.
