Prep: Played for the Frederick High School Warriors as a pitcher and 3rd baseman... In 2011 she was an honorable mention... in 2012 she was named MVP and captain of her high school team... Was also an All-Conference and All-State selection... She helped lead the Warriors to a district championship is 2012... Also competed for her high school basketball team.

Academics: Graduated high school with an overall GPA of 3.49... is majoring in special education and minoring in ASL... Has plans to work at a school for the deaf and blind.

Off the Field: Born 10/24/94... Daughter of Jen Simmons-Bertron and Dan Hoffmann... Has one younger sister named Emily... Enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends... Favorite food is chips and dip... Favorite professional sports teams are the St. Louis Blues and the Colorado Rockies.
