Prep: Compiled a 1.12 ERA under coach Mark Ryan for the Eldorado Eagles… Averaged 180 strikeouts during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons for the Eagles… A 3-time 1st team all-district performer after earning 2nd team honors as a freshman… Helped lead Eldorado HS to district titles during her sophomore and senior seasons.

Academics: Accumulated a 3.0 GPA in high school… Undecided upon a major at Adams State.

Off the Field: Born 11/7/92… Daughter of Sharon Sanchez and Michael Leyba… Has four siblings: Monica Carrillo (30), Kim Carrillo (28), Crystal Carrillo (29)and Ashley Segura (17)… Father, Michael, wrestled at New Mexico Highlands from 1982-85… Enjoys bowling, swimming and watching the news… Favorite movie is Twilight… Enjoys enchiladas and the Yankees.
