Biography
Before ASU: Competed in cross country and indoor track & field for Furman University. As a distance runner on the track circuit, she captured collegiate bests of 9:33.36 (3000 meter) and 17:01.03 (5000 meter). Won her first-ever indoor event at the Emory Crossplex Invitational where she won the 5000 meter in 17:02.99. Placed 16th at the NCAA Division I Southeast Region Cross Country Championships as a freshman.
Prep: Named Gatorade Girls' Cross Country Runner of the Year for Georgia in 2010 and 2011. Four-time state cross country individual champion. Featured in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" in Nov. 2008 edition.
