2011-2012: Placed third overall in the RMAC Championships with a time of 21:47 in the 6K… Went on to the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships and placed third overall with a time of 22:39 in the 6K… Then placed fourth overall in the NCAA National Championships with a time of 21:28 in the 6K…
Prep: Placed fifth at the 2009 state cross country meet as a senior for the Creede HS Miners… Went on to place third at the 2010 state track meet in the 800 meters… Ran a personal-best time of 2:20 to do so… Was an all-state and All-San Luis Valley cross country team selection… Had best marks of 11:58 in the 3,200 meters and 19:55 in the 5K… Also played basketball and volleyball… Earned all-district honors in basketball after helping the Miners to league and district championships in 2009-2010.
