Samantha Hall joined the Adams State University Athletic Department in January 2015. Hall is a graduate of Adams State (2013) and has a B.A. in English/ Communications and holds a Minor in Sports Marketing.Â
Hall was a member of the Grizzlies' Women's Golf Team (2008-2013) and the Women's Lacrosse Team (2012), She was a member of the first ever Regional qualifying team for Women's Golf (2011) and a part of the first ever program win for the Women's Lacrosse team (2012).Â
Currently, Hall is pursuing a Masters in Business Adminitistration (emphasis in Sports Leadership). She assists head Sports Information Director Michael Skinner as the Men's and Women's Lacrosse contact, as well as the Men's and Women's Golf contact. She is responsible for writing releases and stories, as well as assisting in the set-up for lacrosse games.Â
Hall has been a student host on ESPNU's "NCAA On Campus" segment, and during her senior year at Adams State, was the talent for the school's YouTube segement GrizzlyTV. During her time at ASU, she also wrote for the school newspaper, covering sports. She is also a stringer for the local newspaper (the Valley Courier) where she has covered high school football playoffs, and high school golf tournaments.
Hall is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was the first Grizzly golfer from the Great White North. The daughter of Karen and Jim Hall, she spends time in both Toronto and Alamosa.Â
