As a Junior (Fall 2012): Had a phenomenal and very consisent fall, recording a 82.1 stroke average in four tournaments and nine total rounds... That mark is on pace to break the Grizzlies' single-season scoring mark of 83.3 set in 2012-12 by Rachel Reiling... Had three rounds in the 70 and none of higher than 86... Turned in back-to-back 79's to finish in a tie for ninth at the Grizzly Invitational/RMAC #1... That 2-day total of 158 was the best of her career and was matched at the RMAC #3 in Silver City, N.M., where she carded a season-best 77 to go along with an 81... Finished in a tie for sixth at that tournament, her best career finish... Led the team in two tournaments and four of the nine rounds.
As a Sophomore (2010-12): Competed in eight of the team's nine total tournaments, posting an 87.6 stroke average... Carded a career-best 75 in the second round of the season-opening Colorado Christian Fall Invitational/RMAC #1... Had posted an 86 in the opening round en-route to a career-best 36-hole total of 161... Had a 163 (81-82) at the RMAC Event #2 in Scottsbluff, Neb... Finished in a tie for 11th at that tournament, her best finish of the season... Had another top-20 finish to begin the spring at the Mustang Intercollegiate... Posted nine total rounds in the 80's... Finished the year with a 199-210 (.487) head-to-head record... Was fourth on the team in scoring average and fourth in head-to-head percentage... Tied for 26th at the RMAC Championships and 47th at the NCAA Super Regional in Elephant Butte, N.M.
As a Freshman (2010-11): Set a new school freshman scoring record, averaging 85.9 strokes per round... Competed in all nine tournaments and 19 rounds of the season, helping lead the Grizzlies to their first ever NCAA Regional... Tallied five top-20 finishes, including a pair of top-10's... Was third on the squad in both scoring average and head-to-head winning percentage (.526, 211-190)... Her scoring average was the fourth best single-season tally in Grizzly history... Posted rounds of 80 three times... The second came in the first round of the Colorado Christian Invitational, where she posted a 2-round co-season-best of 165 to earn ninth place... Had rounds of 81 and 84 to post the same total score at the Colorado State-Pueblo ThunderWolf Invitational, where she finished in a sixth place tie, her best finish of the campaign... Also had rounds of 80 in the first RMAC event and in the opening round of the RMAC Championships, where she finished tied for 16th... Tied for 44th at the NCAA Central Regional in St. Paul, Minn.
Prep: 5-year varsity golfer for the Paul Stewart coached Piedra Vista HS Panthers… Was on the team since eighth grade… Served as the team captain as a junior (2008-09) and senior (2009-10)… Won the 4A district individual championship in 2009… Was the runner-up as a senior in 2010… Placed fourth at the state tournament in 2010 after a ninth place finish in 2009… Also placed 21st as a sophomore in 2008 helping the Panthers win the state team title… Was a 3-time all-district selection… Earned 2009 Sun Country Player of the Year honors… Averaged 82 strokes throughout her career… Swing coach was Woody Dame... Also played basketball as an eighth grader and freshman.
Academics: Majoring in molecular biology with a minor in chemistry… Holds a 3.11 GPA... Has been on the A.D.'s Honor Roll after all four semesters of her career at Adams State... Had a 3.8 GPA in high school earning all-academic honors throughout her prep career.
