As a Freshman (2011): Played in all 18 games during her debut season, making starts in three... Scored one goal on 13 shots... Provided the lone ASU strike in a 1-2 loss on the road against Colorado Christian on Sept. 18... Took a season-high two shots twice, in the season-opener against University of Sioux Falls on Sept. 3 and again versus Colorado Christian on Sept. 18.

Prep: Was coached by Amanda Lovato at Cleveland High School... In 2009, they went 20-2, were second in state and district champions... In 2010, they went 19-2, were 1st in state, district champions and made it to the quarter finals... Amy was an MVP i n2007.. Made the second team all district team in 2009 and received honroable mention in 2010... She also played basketball, swam and ran track in high school... She received 2nd in medley state, all district... and was a 5 year letter winner.

Club: Played for the Hurst '93 coached by Chris Hurst.

Academics: Was on the honor roll throughout her high school career and was also a member of the National Honor Society... She held a 4.0 GPA and plans on majoring in pre-veterinarian to become a vet.

Off the pitch: Born 9/28/93... Daughter of Fernando and Stacy Salinas... Sisters Marissa and Haley are 16 and 13... Dad Fernando played football at Weber State from 87-88. Mom Stacy swam at New Mexico State from 87-88... Hobbies include student government... Favorite movie is Finding Nemo... Favorite food is Chicken Fried Steak.
