Adams State University

Will O'Keefe joined the Adams State coaching staff in July 2024. O’Keefe works alongside the other coaches in the development of the distance and middle-distance runners. He also assists with recruiting and other program operations.

During the 2022-2023 academic year, O’Keefe served as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Southwest Baptist University, where he helped with the distance and middle-distance runners. He then spent the 2023-2024 school year as a middle and high school PE/Health teacher in Stockton, Missouri. He also served there as an assistant middle and high school Cross Country coach and head middle school Track & Field coach, coaching the distance runners, sprinters, relays, and high jump.

O’Keefe competed for Southwest Baptist University for five years, where he was a two-time NCAA DII provisional national qualifier in the 800m and academic All-American. He received his BS in Sports Management in 2021. His wife, Taylor, is a PE/Health teacher and assistant middle school Track & Field coach in the Alamosa School District.
