2012 Season Statistics
2012: Washington started in 23 of ASU's 30 matches during the historic 2012 season, in which ASU made their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance... Washington had a break-out year, recording 275 kills and 97 blocks on the year... She also had 33 digs and finished the season with 327.5 points... During the 2012 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament, Washington accumulated 32 kills and 13 blocks in two matches, earning herself a spot on the RMAC All-Tournament Team.
2011 Season Statistics
2011: Washington finished third on the team with 183 kills on the season... She also accumulated 81 blocks and 28 digs on the year... Washington finished third on the team with 238.5 points scored.
2010 Season Statistics
2010: Played in all 100 sets over 26 mataches for the Grizzlies in 2010... Notched 207 kills in 512 attempts for a .238 attack percentage... Recorded a season-high 18 kills in the Grizzlies season-opening match, a 3-2 win over Northwest Missouri State (Sept. 3)... Had 11 kills in ASC’s 3-2 win against 16th-ranked West Texas A&M (Sept. 11)... Served 14 aces, including five against Northwest Missouri State... Was good for 86.0 total blocks, including 10 solo and 76 assists... Accounted for 269.0 points during the 2010 season... An Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll selection.
2009 Season Statistics
2009: Played in each of the team's opening weekend matches before missing the rest of the season with an injury... Was granted a NCAA Medical Hardship Waiver preserving her season of eligibility... Recorded five kills and seven blocks in 13 sets... Had three kills against Washburn (Kan.) on Aug. 28... Had a season-high four blocks against Grand Canyon (Ariz.) a day later... Also tallied two assists, both against St. Leo (Fla.) on Aug. 28... Also had two of her three digs in that match.
Prep: Middle and right side hitter for the Geneva Morford coached Roosevelt HS Roughriders… The team won district and regional titles and finished in the top four at the 4A state tournament in 2008, her senior year… The team also finished in the top four at the 3A level in 2007, her junior season… Earned honorable mention academic all-state honors after both of those seasons… Also competed in basketball and track.
Academics: Is majoring in HPPE and has plans to be physical therapist… Was on the A.D.'s Honor Roll after both semesters of the 2009-10 academic year... Compiled a 3.43 cumulative GPA during that time... Graduated from high school in 2009 with a 3.5 GPA.
Off the Court: Born 9/14/91 to Keith and Cindy Washington… Has two siblings, Jerrell and Chantal... Enjoys cooking and watching movies... Favorite food is enchiladas... Is a student-assistant in the ASC Sports Information Department.
