Trey Compton enters his fifth year as a part of the Adams State Athletic Family. Fall 2025 will begin his fifth year as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.
During his time as Compliance Director, Trey has revamped the compliance program, implemented Front Rush, soon to be Arms, served as SAAC Advisor and participated on multiple RMAC committees and was a member of the NCAA DII Baseball Regional Advisory Committee.
Before coming to Adams State, Compton worked as a Graduate Assistant from 2020-2021 at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi where he received his Master's in Business Administration.
Trey spent the spring of 2021 as an intern in the athletic department at fellow RMAC School the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
The Mount Prospect, Illinois native graduated with his Bachelor's in Sports Administration in 2019 from Elmhurst University. While there he was a four-year student-athlete on the Baseball team and an intern in the Athletic Department.
