PUEBLO, Colo. (October 19, 2014) -- The Adams State University Grizzlies men's soccer team lost today in their Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) match versus the Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves by a score of 3-0 . It marks the Grizzlies' 12
th consecutive loss since their season opening win on Sept. 4. With today's result the Grizzlies now fall to 1-12 overall and 0-10 in RMAC play. The ThunderWolves on the other hand improve their season standing to 4-10, 3-7 RMAC.
The ThunderWolves were in complete control during the match, mainly due to the performance of striker Matt Marchena who scored two goals for CSU-Pueblo during the 27th and 45th minute mark, respectively

CSU-Pueblo outshot Adams by an 11-8 margin in the first half while also taking a 6-3 advantage on corner kicks.
The Grizzlies were limited to only one shot on goal in the second half, mainly due by a strong defensive showing from the ThunderWolves defense. Jack Gonzales scored a goal at the 69th minute to pad the CSU-Pueblo lead to 3-0.
Austin Baumeister started in goal for the Grizzlies; recording five saves and allowing three goals. Adams State now looks to a match with Colorado Christian University on October 24
th at the ASU Soccer Field.
