Last Time Out For Grizzlies
ASU dropped a pair of RMAC games against Colorado State University-Pueblo and the No. 8 University of Colorado at Colorado Springs last weekend. The ThunderWolves handed the Grizzlies a 90-81 defeat with the Mountain Lions edging ASU 99-82 the following day. Cold shooting from the starting five marred their efforts against CSU-Pueblo. Excluding Travante Williams' game-high 24 points, ASU's four other starters combined for only 11 points against the ThunderWolves. The Grizzlies went on to face a hot shooting Mountain Lions squad who concluding the conference tilt by shooting 55 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range, and 83 percent from the free throw line.

About The Broncos
With a 5-2 record, Boise State is coming off an 82-71 win over Saint Mary's on Dec. 6. The Broncos are led by a trio of guards in Derrick Marks, Anthony Drmic, and Mikey Thompson. Last season the Broncos advanced to the MWC Tournament Championship game against the University of New Mexico. Two seasons ago the Broncos squared off against La Salle University in the first round of the NCAA Division I Tournament. The program is under the direction of fifth year head coach, Leon Rice.

About The Skyhawks
Behind the efforts of center Alex Herrera, Fort Lewis stands at 6-2 overall and 1-0 in RMAC play. The Skyhawks picked up their first conference win via a 76-70 road decision over CSU-Pueblo. Through eight games Herrera is fourth in conference scoring at 21.3 points per game and is the rebounding leader at 10.9 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-9 senior also ranks second with 3.9 blocks per game. Herrera has already been the recipient of two RMAC Defensive Player of the Week awards and one RMAC Offensive Player of the Week award.

Last We Met
The Grizzlies defeated Fort Lewis, 97-95, in overtime from Durango on 2/1/14. Justin Kauffman drained a game-tying three-pointer with 1:04 remaining in regulation. In overtime a Chuck Cole three-pointer with 13 seconds left put the Grizzlies on top, 96-95. A Kauffman free throw just seconds later brought the game to its final score of 97-95. Mike Hemsley had a standout performance and torched the Skyhawks for 30 points off 13-18 shooting. Hemsley also pulled down 12 rebounds—8 of which were offensive.
