MSOC | Weekend Comes To A Close With 1-0 Loss To No. 7 Orediggers

GOLDEN, Colo. (October 25, 2015) – The Adams State University men's soccer team finished a two-game road trip at Stermole Stadium against the No. 7 Colorado School of Mines Orediggers on Sunday.

The Grizzlies (2-10-2, 1-5-2 RMAC) dropped their second match in as many weeks to Colorado Mines. Last weekend ASU hosted CSM, ultimately falling 2-0.

The Orediggers (11-3-2, 9-0-1 RMAC) got the lone goal of the contest in the second half when CSM's Richard Garvey posted his team leading 10th goal of the season.

Symon Fabbricatore and Ethan Jackson accounted for all three shots on goal for Adams State. Meanwhile Austin Baumeister did all he could to keep the Grizzlies in the fray notching 11 saves only letting the clincher past. After spending 77 minutes in net Baumeister was relieved by Caleb Baumgartner who didn't see any shots in his 12 minutes of play. The final score remained 1-0 in favor of the Orediggers.
