Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. (November 7, 2015)—The Adams State University Grizzlies women's volleyball team lost tonight in heartbreaking fashion this evening against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) foe Western New Mexico University by a 3-2 match score. With the loss, the Grizzlies record now falls to 9-16 on season, 8-9 in RMAC play.
ASU lost tonight's match 25-22, 25-19, 25-14, 25-23, and 17-15. Adams won the second and fourth sets. Offensively the Grizzlies were led by the duo of
Mallory Grimsrud and
Hannah Atkinson. Grimsrud led the team with 22 kills of 44 attacks, equating to a .318 hitting percentage. Grimsrud's 22 kills stands as her collegiate-best. Atkinson tallied 18 kills tonight, cumulating to her collegiate-best as well. Setter
Katelyn Schwartz posted a season best 53 assists in tonight game against the visiting Mustangs.
Defensively the Grizzlies could not find an answer to the Mustang attack. Four Mustang hitters posted double-digit marks with kills, as Leeta Grap led the team with 20. Grimsrud punched in a solid performance on the defensive end as well, having a season-best nine block showing against WNMU.

Allie Miller, and
Briannah Mariner each posted double-digit marks with digs. Timmen led the team with 20 while Miller and Mariner each posted 13, respectively.
For the night the Grizzlies attacked with a hitting percentage of .141 while the visiting Mustangs hit with a .217 percentage at the net.
