Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (February 27, 2015)Â The Adams State University Grizzlies took on the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks in their second to last game of the 2014-15 campaign on Friday night.

Offensively, the Grizzlies were lead by
Desiree Anderson who tallied 16 points and
J'nae Squires-Horton who had 15 points on the night. Defensively, Natalie Halblieb lead the way for ASU with six rebounds, while
Sabra Ross had three steals in the game.

The Mavericks, who improve to 21-4 on the season (18-3 RMAC), took control of the game that only saw four lead changes. Leading the way for the Mavericks was Erin Reichle who tallied 22 points offensively and four steals defensively. Teammate Shanna Halalilo was also a nightmare on both sides of the court with 19 points and six rebounds. Through out the game, Colorado Mesa led for a total of 34:29 and were able to capitalize on an 87.5% free throw percentage to dominate the game.

Despite ending the night with a higher shot conversion of 42.1% (24-57) to CMU's 40.0% (24-60), the Grizzlies head into tomorrow night's match up against Western State with a record of 4-21 (4-17 RMAC). The game is slated to start at 5:30pm in Gunnison.Â
