ALAMOSA, Colo. (September 27, 2015) – The Adams State University men's soccer lost to the visiting Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves on Sunday from the ASU Soccer Field.
Adams State (1-6-0, RMAC 1-3-0) has had a rough go lately and for the third straight game failed to find the net. CSU-Pueblo (5-3-0, RMAC 2-1-0) won on a day that saw five goals from four separate players. CSU-Pueblo's Dycus Kelly, TJ Theibalt and Trevor Hardacker each had a goal while Matt Marchena chipped in two.
The first half saw CSU-Pueblo put up two unanswered goals from Marchena and Kelly. The second half was just more of the same with Thiebalt and Hardacker getting in on the act while Marchena added his second of the day.
Ethan Jackson notched Adam States' only shot on goal in the second half. Capping off a difficult week for the Grizzlies, the program has totaled five shots on goal during their last three matches.
