TAOS, N.M. (September 4, 2015) - The Adams State University men's soccer team started regular season play on Friday against Eastern New Mexico University in a neutral site match at Eco Park in Taos, N.M.

ENMU won in an affair that saw three different Greyhound players score a goal. Carlos Viveros found the back of the net in the first half as Ryan McManus and Roberto Zararain each added a goal in the second. Â Zararain's header off an assist from Viveros came in the 73 minute to conclude match scoring.

ASU (0-1) totaled 15 shots led by junior
Ethan Jackson who registered six shots and two on goal which resulted in ENMU goalkeeper James Gutierrez collecting seven saves during the match.

On the other end two goaltenders saw action for ASU in sophomores
Austin Baumeister and
Caleb Baumgartner. In 14 minutes of play during the second period Baumgartner saw four shots and registered three saves.

Look for the Grizzlies on the road again September 11
th in Lakewood, Colo. as they face Upper Iowa University. The match will be hosted by Colorado Christian University.Â
