Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. (September 8^th, 2015)—The Adams State University Grizzlies women's soccer team earned their second consecutive win of the 2015 campaign earlier this afternoon when they squared off against the Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds. The Grizzlies scored a late goal to get the 1-0 win.

The Greyhounds got the first shot of the contest, but keeping her stellar goal tending skills going, Molly O'Connor saved the blistering long-distance shot. ENMU would manage to get five shots off in the first half, but would be unsuccessful in finding the back of the net. Adams State's two shots came from Sloan Foster and Maggie Carrico.

The second half of the game saw the Grizzlies come out strong with a shot from Elaine Van de Wille early in the half. With only two minutes left to play, Hope Cruz found the back of the net for her third goal of the season. The goal came off of a free kick that found itself in a group of Grizzlies, with Cruz managing to get a foot on it and sending it to the bottom right corner of the net.

The second half saw the Grizzlies become offensive threats with six shots, to the Greyhounds' two.  The Grizzlies' defense was strong enough to make it an easy day for O'Connor.

Overall, out of Adams State's eight shots, five were on target. The Greyhounds tallied seven shots with only two being on net.

The Grizzlies will next be in action when they take to the pitch on Saturday September 12^th, when Lubbock Christian University comes to Alamosa. The game is slated to begin at 12:00 pm. Fans can follow along with live stats that can be found on www.asugrizzlies.com
