ALAMOSA, Colo. (January 27, 2016) – For the first time since 1996, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Wrestling Championships will return on Sunday, January 31
st from the United States Olympic Complex in Colorado Springs.
The all-day event is scheduled to begin at 9am with a second session starting at 3:30pm. Finals are slated to begin at 5pm.

However, before Sunday's showdown, Adams State takes on Colorado State University-Pueblo on Friday, Jan. 29
th at 6pm from Massari Arena. A season ago the two conference foes met in Pueblo with the ThunderWolves claiming a 22-14 dual win.
The Grizzlies enter this week's competition with a 1-5 overall dual record. Individually,
Martin Ramirez (133) holds a 16-5 record including five pins and four tech falls. The senior's performance on the mat currently ranks him third in his weight class by d2wrestle.com. Also with a double figure win total are
Dakota Bencomo (17),
Tuli Laulu (17),
Ian Wingstrom (12), and
Nevada Bencomo (11).
