ALAMOSA, Colo. (October 1^st, 2016) --- The volleyball team was defeated 1-3 tonight in Alamosa by Colorado Mesa University.

CMU took the first set 25-18. ASU would even things up with a second set victory 25-21. In the third set, the Mavericks cruised to a 25-17 decision. Although the Grizzlies had their chances in the fourth set, Colorado Mesa prevailed 25-18.

Briannah Mariner led the team with 12 kills.  Mallory Grimsrud put up 8 blocks on the night.  

The Grizzlies will take to the road for a contest against Colorado Christian University on October 7^th at 6:00pm
