Symon Fabbricatore ends his ASU career with the record for goals in a season (7) and goals in a career (10).
Coach Bentley had this to say: "Very disappointing to end the year like we did today. It was a very evenly played match and the score line doesn't accurately reflect how it was played on the field. The game turned on the red card because then we could no longer do what we wanted to do defensively. Playing a man down for as long as we did is difficult but even more so when you're playing a good team like Springs. The encouraging thing though is that we were still able to possess the ball and break their pressure. Now we will turn out attention to recruiting and addressing the defensive issues we had this year as well as adding a few talented attacking players to a quality group of returners."
