Adams State (9-11, 8-7 RMAC) had a promising start to last weekend with a 94-78 victory over Chadron State. Shakir Smith posted another impressive point total with 28, also snagging three steals and three assists. Kendyl Grover was one rebound away from his third double-double in three weeks. Grover contributed for 21 points and 9 rebounds. Joe Bell Austin led the Grizzlies in assists with 6 and shored up the offense by tallying 15 points.

The Grizzlies then closed the weekend out with Regis University. The Rangers paced the Grizzlies for the majority of the game as ASU was unable to find an answer to take an extended lead. The Grizzlies were led by Shakir Smith and DJ Morgan who each posted 18 points.

About Black Hills State University (9-10, 7-8 RMAC)
After having mixed performances to arrive at 3-4, the Yellow Jackets got on a hot streak and ripped off four straight wins to earn a respectable 7-4 record. However, they currently find themselves on the business end of a four-game skid that has them on the wrong side of .500. Nick Ongarato leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring putting up 19 points per game, good enough for sixth in the conference. Ongarato is also shooting 51 percent from the field. Ongarato is flanked by Riley Ryan who leads the team in three-point shooting going (41%) and is second on the team in scoring.

About South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (7-12, 5-10 RMAC)
