DENVER, Colo. (September 23^rd, 2016)—The Adams State University Grizzlies women's soccer team traveled to Denver for a Friday night lights game against the Metropolitan State University of Denver Roadrunners. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies were unable to keep their four-game win streak alive, as they fell 1-0 to MSUD.

The lone goal of the contest came in the sixteenth minute of play. Lacey Daniel tallied three shots on net to lead the Grizzlies, while Maggie Carrico chipped in with two shots.

Grizzly goalkeeper, Teagan Moore, ended the day with seven saves.

Adams State continues their two –game road trip with a stop at Regis University on Sunday, September 25^th to take on the Rangers. The game is set for a 1:00 p.m. start, and live stats and video will be available for fans by visiting asugrizzlies.com.
