DENVER, Colo. (September 25th, 2016)—The Adams State University Grizzlies women's soccer team finished a two game road trip that saw them travel to Denver. Earlier Sunday, the Grizzlies fell to the Regis University Rangers 5-1.
The Rangers scored the first goal of the contest six hand a half minutes into play, but were counteracted by
Lacey Daniel in the twenty-fifth minute. Daniel's goal came from deep, and on the bounce, got through the hands of Regis' goalkeeper, Kat Crump.
Regis would then go on to score their second goal of the game to take a 2-1 lead over the Grizzlies.
The second period of play would see the Rangers net three more before the end of the game.
Grizzly goalkeeper,
Teagan Moore, would end the day with five saves. Daniel led the way for Adams State with two shots.
The Grizzlies will try to get back into the win column when they host their Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) rival, the Western
State University of Colorado Mountaineers on September 30
