ALAMOSA – The Adams State University women's soccer team wrapped up its' weekend Sunday in a matchup against University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. It was a long match for Adams State as the team fell to UCCS 5-0.

 The match got underway with an immediate goal from University of Colorado's, Bailee Jameson in the ninth minute. Not long after, Anna Gregg increased the lead for UCCS with her second goal of the season. With one half in the books and Adams State trailing 3-0, on the outside looking in.
The second half began just like the first with a goal from University of Colorado's Lo Vyvlecka in the 49
th minute. In the 68
th minute, Anna Gregg scored her second goal of the game for UCCS with a shot to the top left corner. As the clock hit zero, the score left Adams State stunned, losing 5-0 to UCCS.

Corri Zaiger led Adams State with 13 saves to 3 from University of Colorado. However, it was a match that favored UCCS, as it outshot Adams State, 25-3. The Grizzlies will be back on the field in a matchup against Black Hills State University on October 8
