Recently For Adams State Women's Basketball:
The Grizzlies recently picked up their first conference win of the season over New Mexico Highlands on February 4th, winning 72-70. They have since lost the last two games at home, but seemingly have a newfound defense. Adams has been applying a brutal full-court press lately to great success. The team is averaging nearly 13 steals per game over the last three contests.

About Colorado Christian:
The Cougars are an average 10-13 on the year. They are coming off of a 66-52 win last Saturday against Colorado Mines. Alex Nelson leads the team in scoring with 14.2 points and seven rebounds per game. Claire Paxton will be the Cougar's defensive threat with 21 blocks and 16 steals on the year.

Last Meeting: These teams last met on December 30th, 2016. That night was not so memorable for Adams State after the Cougars won 78-39. Trailing by 40 in the third period, CCU eventually had five players reach double digits. Cydney McHenry led the Grizzlies with 9 points and 2 assists in that meeting.

Looking Ahead:  The team will finish up the remainder of the season on the road after this weekend. An uncommon Tuesday game on February 21st at Fort Lewis and a February 25th matchup with Westminster will bring this season to a close.
