DURANGO, Colo. (February 21st, 2017) -- No. 14 Fort Lewis College utilized a healthy second half shooting clip of 58.6 percent to pull away from Adams State University in a rare Tuesday night conference tilt.

The Grizzlies remained close early as a 7-0 run near the end of the first half cut FLC's lead to 27-25. The Skyhawks quickly grew the lead back to six but in the minutes that followed a
J.R. Tailey and-one layup shrunk FLC's lead to a single possession contest once again at 30-28. Adams State was unable to take the lead as Fort Lewis followed with a 7-1 run for a 37-29 lead at halftime.
