PUEBLO – Adams State University shut out Colorado State University-Pueblo in its RMAC opener on Friday. It was the Grizzlies first victory over the Thunderwolves in school history after losing their first fourteen meetings.
The lone goal of the game came in the 59
th minute when
Carlos Castro led
Drayden Ricks with a beautiful pass for the easy goal. This is Ricks' first goal of the season and Castro's first assist.

Austin Baumeister was tremendous for the Grizzlies with three saves. He recorded his second shutout of the season, improving his record to 3-1.

The game was a heated one as it included eighteen fouls and four yellow cards between the two teams.

The Grizzlies will take their 4-1 record on the road to face the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The RMAC regular season contest will begin at noon on Sunday.
