MSOC | Grizzlies Ranked Regionally For Third Week in a Row

ALAMOSA – Adams State University men's soccer team is ranked eighth in the South Central Region for the third week in a row. The Grizzlies began their season with a strong 4-2 record with big wins over Rogers State and Colorado State University-Pueblo.

Along with the Grizzlies, conference foes, Colorado Mesa University and Regis University, are also ranked regionally inside of the top five. Rogers State is ranked fifth with their only loss coming at the hands of Adams State in a non-conference contest earlier this month.

The Grizzlies have a tough stretch of conference games coming up including a matchup this Friday with No.10-ranked nationally ranked Colorado Mesa in Alamosa. Adams State will also face Westminster College (Utah) this Sunday.  The Grizzlies are currently undefeated at home (2-0).

Adams State will look for their defense to continue dominating as the Grizzlies are averaging .067 goals per game to its opponents.
This Friday's contest will begin at noon at the ASU Soccer Field, with the women's squad playing right after both days.
