ALAMOSA – The Adams State University women's soccer team finished its' weekend home stretch against Regis University Sunday afternoon. Adams State was outmatched by Regis University, suffering a 0-4 loss.

It became clear in the first half that Adams State was outmatched by Regis. Natasha Wehmer scored the game's first goal for Regis, passed the keeper into the net. Maggie Saras pushed the lead further with a header assisted by Emily Ramos in the 31
st minute. Adams State trailed Regis 2-0 heading into halftime with just one shot taken.

Emily Ramos for Regis started the second half with her second goal for the game with a shot off of a deflected header. Bethany Hohnstein solidified the victory with a breakaway left goal assisted by Cate Parchinski in the 65
th minute. Adams State was limited to zero corner kicks and only three shots in the second half.

Despite the lopsided affair Sunday afternoon, the Adams State women's soccer team displayed an incredible amount of fight and perseverance. The Grizzlies will continue its' fight September 29
th against rivals Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado.
