Kearney, Nebraska - The Adams State University wrestling team (0-6) had a very tough trip to Nebraska amidst elite competition. The Grizzlies fell 10-27 to No. 23 Lindenwood University, 15-30 to No. 13 the University of Central Oklahoma, and 18-22 to Newman University all this Saturday.
 
Natrelle Demison had a dominant day in all three duels in the 149 pound weight class and was the highlight for all Grizzlies. Demison defeated Nate Trepanier of Lindenwood in an 8-0 major decision first. He then went on to pin the number seven ranked wrestler in the nation in Will Steltzen of Central Oklahoma at the 4:10 mark. He would finish the day with a 15-5 major decision over Mario Rodriguez of Newman to finish the day 3-0.
 
Luis Gurule managed to upend Hunter Haralson (Lindenwood) who is ranked No. 11 nationally in the 133 pound weight class. Later, he would win via tech fall over Vincent Eremita (Central Oklahoma) 17-1.
