ALAMOSA – In a high scoring affair, Adams State University women's basketball team (4-13, 2-13 RMAC) fell to Colorado School of Mines (13-7, 10-4 RMAC) by a score of 88-66 Saturday night in Plachy Gymnasium.

The story of the game came from beyond the arc, as the Orediggers shot 52 percent to sink a dozen treys. The team was led by Cassidy Budge, who tied the Mines school record in single-game 3-pointers with eight.

For the Grizzlies,
Brooke Neal tied her season-high points total with 21. Neal shot an outstanding 70 percent from the field and was five-of-six from the charity stripe.

Lejla Hadzialijagic would add in a dozen points, while
Ki'asha Harris chipped in 11. The duo were also the largest contributors on defense, as Harris had a team-high seven boards and Hadzialijagic had three blocks.

Adams State returns to home court action next weekend against CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands. Both games tip off at 5:30 p.m. in Plachy Hall.
