ALAMOSA, Colo. - The Adams State Volleyball team hosts Fort Lewis College this Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in Plachy Hall.

Adams State is coming off a split at home against CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands this past weekend. The Grizzlies sent the Thunderwolves packing in just four sets Friday night. However, the Cowgirls outlasted the Grizz in a five-set thriller Saturday night.

Hannah Goddard remains atop the team with 179 kills for the season. Shannon Mulkey and Julianna Zamora aren't too far behind with 162 and 129 kills. Rachael Ringler leads in assists with a team-high 627.

Fort Lewis College is coming off a weekend at home where the team had wins against New Mexico Highlands and CSU-Pueblo. It took five sets for the Skyhawks to defeat the Cowgirls Friday night in Whalen Gymnasium. Fort Lewis ensured a short trip for CSU-Pueblo, defeating the team in straight sets.

Adams State holds an overall record at 6-10  with a 3-5 record in the RMAC. Fort Lewis College is currently 3-9 with all of its wins coming in the RMAC. As of this past weekend Adams State sits at No. 9 in the RMAC stands, while Fort Lewis remains three spots down at No. 12.

The game will also be White Out Night. Grizzly fans attending the came are encouraged to wear white for the game.
