ALAMOSA, Colo. - The Adams State Volleyball team is back on campus grounds this weekend against conference foes. Adams State plays South Dakota School of Mines Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. and Black Hills State on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Adams State is currently 6-13 in the season. The Grizzlies have a 3-8 record in the RMAC. Adams State sits at No. 13 in the RMAC standings as of this past weekend.
The Grizzlies are riding a four-game losing streak. Adams State was on the road last weekend against Colorado Christian and Regis. Adams State played hard but was no match for either team. The Grizzlies will look to finish the season strong with just four home games remaining.
The Hardrockers are on a five-game losing streak heading into their match against the Grizzlies. The Hardrockers' last three losses came at home against Black Hills State, Colorado Mesa, and Western State Colorado. It was a rough outing for the team as they only took one set against the three teams.
The Yellow Jackets split in their two matches at home last weekend. Black Hills defeated Western State in straight sets on Friday. Black Hills was swept in just three sets by Colorado Mesa on Saturday.
