Grizzlies Look to Finish Strong in Final Home Games

ALAMOSA, Colo. - The Adams State Volleyball team looks to finish strong in their final weekend at home this season. Adams State faces Colorado Mesa Friday Oct, 19 at 7 p.m. and Western Colorado on Saturday with opening set at 7 p.m.

The Grizzlies are No. 10 in the RMAC standings as of this past weekend. Adams State holds a record at 8-13, while going 5-8 in the conference.

Adams State is coming off back-to-back wins at home against South Dakota School of Mines and Black Hills State last weekend. The Grizzlies took care of business defeating both teams in just four sets.

Colorado Mesa is ranked No. 3 in the RMAC with an 11-2 record in the conference and 16-5 record overall. The Mavericks are coming off a split at home last weekend. Colorado Mesa was taken down by Dixie State Friday night, but bounced back to defeat Westminster on Saturday.

Western Colorado sits in last place in the RMAC standings with a 1-12 record in the conference and 2-19 record overall. The Mountaineers are coming off back-to-back losses at home this past weekend. Western had two tough outings against Westminster and Dixie State.

Adams State fans, Friday night is Black Out night against Colorado Mesa. The team would like for all Grizzly fans in attendance to wear black for this match. The first 25 fans to come to the match get a free Adams State Black Out T-shirt. Come out and show your Grizzly Pride!
