DURANGO, Colo.– The Adams State University men's basketball team (17-12, 15-8 RMAC) is still alive on its quest to win the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament championship. The Grizzlies will meet No. 25 Fort Lewis College (23-5, 18-4 RMAC) on Friday at 7:00PM in the semifinals. The winner will advance to the RMAC championship game against the winner of Regis and the Colorado School of Mines.

The Grizzlies have recently beaten the Skyhawks only nine days ago 107-93 in Alamosa. At that time, FLC was ranked No. 21. The loss was only their fifth of the season and remains their most recent loss. Adams State defeated Metro State 64-61 last Tuesday to advance to tomorrow's semifinal game.
About Fort Lewis:
The Skyhawks enter the game as the one seed at 23-5 overall and an unbelievable 15-0 at home and have only lost one home game since the 2015-16 season. Fort Lewis leads the RMAC in points per game with 86.3. Adams State is right behind them though with 83.0 points per game. Brandon Wilson is second in the conference with 227 total rebounds and slowing him will be key for a potential upset.
Last Meeting:
As previously mentioned, the Grizzlies pulled off a 107-93 upset over the Skyhawks last week at home.
Shane Johnson recorded a career high 30 points in the win.
Brandon Sly also put up a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists.
For students wanting to travel to the game, there will be a pep bus costing only $5 a person. Tickets will be available tomorrow morning in Plachy Hall.
