ALAMOSA – Adams State University women's lacrosse ended its season this weekend with road losses to Colorado Mesa University and Westminster College. The Grizzlies improved to 3-10 this season with one win in conference.

The first stop for Adams was Colorado Mesa. The team fell by a score of 1-20, letting up 15 first half goals.
Cera Cyester was the lone goal scorer for Adams State, scoring on the only shot the team recorded in the first half.

The stats were lopsided throughout the contest, as the team was outshot 6-30. Despite this they had 17 turnovers credited against Mesa and won six draw controls.

In the season finale at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, The team allowed 16 first half goals, but were able to pick up three goals in each half. Cyester picked up another hat trick with three goals, while
Jessica Hammer added a pair and
Savannah Penland notched one.

The team assisted well, as
Kendell Baylor and
Samantha Hammer each picked up assists in the first half. Adams was much more aggressive with 17 shots, putting 10 on goal. The team also forced Westminster to let up 20 turnovers.
Kalli Hosier led the team with four caused turnovers, while Cyester and
Kates Raymond picked up six and five draw controls, respectfully.
