VB | Grizzlies Continue Season on the Road

ALAMOSA, Colo. -  The Adams State Volleyball team continues its season on the road with a matchup at Colorado School of Mines Friday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. Adams State follows that with a match against University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Saturday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.

Adams State is coming off a 1-1 split in its first weekend at home. Adams State followed a Friday night loss to Metropolitan State University-Denver with a victory against Chadron State College Saturday evening.

The Grizzlies' record moves to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in the RMAC. Hannah Goddard and Shannon Mulkey lead the team in kills with a combined 221. Rachael Ringler continues the season as the team's leader in assists at 380.

Colorado School of Mines sits atop the RMAC standings with an overall record at 8-2 with a 2-0 record in the RMAC. The Orediggers moved up to No. 25 in the Division II American Volleyball Coaches Association this past weekend.

University of Colorado-Colorado Springs sits at No. 15 in the RMAC. The Cougars post a 2-8 record with an 0-2 start in conference play.
