ALAMOSA, Colo. - Adams State Men's Basketball hits the road for its final three games of the season while still in the hunt for a postseason berth to the RMAC Tournament. The Grizzlies are set to battle three conference rivals in those final games.

Tip-Off
• The Grizzlies enter the weekend with a 10-14 overall record and is 10-9 in RMAC play. The Grizzlies are alone at eighth in the conference standings and will to keep themselves in the top-eight as the regular season winds down.
• Adams State is 4-5 on the road this season and will look to finish above .500 in their final three games of the season. The team finished 6-7 at home during the 2018-19 season.
• Adams State will finish up the regular season next weekend when they travel to Fort Lewis.
Adams State Breakdown
• The Grizzlies continue to be a top-five scoring team in the RMAC. They are fifth averaging 79.3 points per game on 44.2% shooting. They average 31.8% from three-point range.
• On defense, Adams State gives up an average of 80.5 points per game on 47.3%. Opponents only shoot 35.7% from deep against Adams State which is fifth lowest in the RMAC.
• The Grizzlies are fifth in the RMAC in free throw percentage at 74.4. They are Fifth in rebounds averaging 36.6 boards per game. They lead the RMAC in offensive boards at 11.5.
• John Dewey is the Grizzlies top scorer at 19.8 points per game on 41.2% shooting. His scoring average is third highest in the RMAC. His percentage is 17th.
• Davere Creighton is second in scoring at 14.6 points per game which ranks 13th in the RMAC. He leads the team in rebounds at 7.9 per game which leads the RMAC.
• Shemar Johnson averages 13.3 points per game for the Grizzlies on a 50 shooting percentage. His percentage is seventh in the RMAC.
• Rickey Norris rounds out the double figure scoring averaging 12.7 points per game. he is second on the team in rebounding at 6.3 per game, which ranks 12th in the RMAC.
• Dewey leads the Grizzlies in assists averaging 4.0 per game. He is fourth in the RMAC in assists and is fifth in steals averaging 1.5 per game.
• Norris is the team's top shot blocker. He averages 1.0 per game and is tied for seventh in the RMAC with his average.
• Dewey is still the RMAC leader in free throw percentage at 92.3% on 131-142 made shots. His percentage is fourth best in all of Division II.
Scouting Western Colorado
• The Mountaineers are 4-21 overall and 1-18 in the RMAC. They have won one of  their last four games and currently sit last in the RMAC.
• Western Colorado University averages 75.8 points per game on offense and shoot an average of 42.8% from the floor. They average 36.3% from three-point range.
• On the defensive side, the Mountaineers give up the most points allowed per game at 84.9 points. They also have the worst in percentage defense allowing 49.9% shooting.
• Western ranks sixth in the RMAC in team rebounding. They pull down 35.4 boards per contest.
• Four players are averaging double-digit points led by Quincy Harding's 18.7 points per game off 44.9% in 14 games played.
• Brady Subart comes in next with 15.3 PPG, which is 10th best in the RMAC. His 43.2 field goal percentage is 15th best in the RMAC.
• Cole Sienknecht is third with 13.0 and Jaire Roberts rounds out double digit scoring with 11.5.
• Jackson Ehrlin leads the team in rebounds averaging 6.1 boards per game. Monroe Porter is second on the team with 5.8.
• Subart leads the team in assists with 76 total and averages 3.2.
• Porter also leads the defense in blocks and steals recording 10 blocks and 30 steals on the year.
Scouting Colorado Mesa
• The Mavericks come into the weekend with a 17-8 overall mark and are 12-7 in RMAC play. They are 6th in the conference standings.
• Offensively, Mesa is fourth in scoring averaging 81.7 points per game and is first in shooting percentage at 51.6%. They shoot 37.8% from deep.
• Defensively, the Mavericks give up an average of 75.9 points per game on 44.7% shooting and 36.9% from three-point range.
• Four players are averaging double-digit points led by Connor Nichols' 20.1 points per game. His average first in the RMAC.
• Kenzo Nudo is second in scoring at 13.1 points per game. Tommy Nudo third at 11.8 points per game. Damon Dubots right behind him with 11.1.
• Nichols is also the top rebounder for CMU and is fifth in the RMAC at 7.2 boards per game.
• Brandon Hoffer leads the offense is passing with an average of 4.4 assists per game which is tied for first in the RMAC.
• Tommy Nuno is 7th in the RMAC in steals with 1.4 per game. Nuno is also the top shot blocker with 11 total on the year.
