ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State Women's Volleyball heads back out on the road for a pair of conference games. The Grizzlies will first head to Chadron, Neb. to take on the Eagles of Chadron State College then to MSU Denver to go up against the Roadrunners.
Adams State is out of the Skyhawk Classic Tournament split 2-2. There, the Grizzlies got two big wins against Western New Mexico University and Texas A&M International. The Grizzlies are coming in to the weekend 4-5 overall, and are looking to capitalize on the road.
Friday night, Adams State will take on Chadron State. The Eagles are moving in to the weekend 6-2 overall. The Eagles are coming out of a positive weekend from the FHSU Fall Tournament, where they finished the weekend 3-1.
The Grizzlies have a nice history with Chadron State, going 13-0 over the past 12 consecutive years. Adams State has had victories in both home and away gyms. The Grizzlies faced the Eagles last year in Alamosa, winning with a 3-0 margin.

Hannah Goddard had a great game against the Eagles. Mulkey led the team with 17 kills and 4 blocks. Goddard was right behind her with 13 kills and 3 blocks. The Grizzlies are excited to take on the Eagles once again Friday, Sept. 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Adams State will travel from Chadron, Neb. to Denver Colo. to face the MSU Denver Roadrunners. The Roadrunners are 5-3 on the season so far, moving out of a 1-3 weekend from the Colorado Premier Challenge.
Like Chadron State, the Grizzlies have a long history against the Roadrunners, with a historical record of 0-11. Adams State's closest matches were both 2-3 losses, most recently in 2014.
