Chadron, NE – The Adams State University wrestling team comes home with yet another win under their belt after visiting Chadron State for another week of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. Grizzlies would take 8 of the 10 bouts, scoring 29 team-points while holding the Eagles to 12. Adams State increases their win streak to three duals, putting their overall record to 5-2 (3-1 RMAC) and holding their #13 spot in the national rankings.
The night would kick off with the 174-pound bout between Adams State Senior,
Isaac Lopez and Javen Palmer that would result in a quick six for the Grizzlies as Lopez would pin Palmer within two minutes, finally putting him down at the 1:48 mark.
William Tyler would follow in the 184-pound matchup with Chadron State's Terry Winstead, eventually coming out on top with a close decision victory 3-2.
Isaiah De La Cerda would kick things off for the dominant lightweights of Adams State, finding a 3-0 decision victory over Chadron's Tate Stoddard in the 125-pound bout.
#5 Jonathan Adreatta would have a worthy opponent in Brandon Kile for the 133-pound matchup, but nothing would stop the explosive redshirt-sophomore from earning a 8-0 major decision victory over Kile to keep his individual win streak from thriving.

Noah Hermosillo would be an unstoppable force tonight, coming only two points away from earning a win by technical fall while keeping Chadron State's Joseph Taylor scoreless in the 141-pound bout. Hermosillo would rack up 13 points on his opponent and tallying four team points in the matchup.
