KEARNEY, NEB. —The Annual Midwest Duals will take place in the Buffalo County Fairgrounds this weekend in Kearney, Nebraska and the Grizzlies will be joining nine other college teams to participate.

The field, due to the on-going COVID pandemic, is smaller this year. The college action will take place in the Exhibit Building and start at 9 a.m. Each school will have three duals; with Adams State making up an earlier postponed Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) dual against Chadron State, former RMAC-rival University of Nebraska Kearney, and Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) rival, University of Central Missouri. The duals are scheduled for 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Mountain Time.

The University of Nebraska at Kearney has announced that fans will allowed to attend the duals but capacity in each facility will be capped at 75 percent and fans are asked to wear a mask and social distance. TICKETS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ONLINE- THERE WILL BE NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR. Tickets can be purchased at www.lopertickets.com.  Cost is $10 (Adults) and $5 (students ages 11-18) with those 10 & under free.

The Grizzlies enter the duals as the No. 10 team in the NWCA. They are 2-1 on the season after opening up the season at the FHSU Dual Jamboree where they defeated No. 12 Fort Hays State, 24-21, and No. 23 Newman University, 29-18. They ten dropped an RMAC dual at Colorado Mesa, 32-13.

After this weekend, the Grizzlies will be closing out the regular season with two home duals. They are set to host Colorado School of Mines on January 30, at 3 p.m. and CSU Pueblo at 6 p.m. on February 3. Fans will not be allowed to attend home duals.
