LAKEWOOD – Adams State struggled to find the correct release point throughout Sunday's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) game as they missed several shots early and fell to Colorado Christian University, 75-54.
The Grizzlies, now 1-3 overall and 1-3 in the RMAC, shot 30.4 percent (14-of-56) from the field including 30.4 (7-of-23) from the free throw line.
Adams State was outscored 24-10 in the first quarter and 22-14 in the second to enter the halftime break 46-24. They came out strong in the second half, however, the lead was too much to overcome.
