DENVER, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies continued on their road trip as they take on Metropolitan State University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. The Grizzlies fell 6-0 to the Roadrunners. With the loss the Grizzlies are now 1-8-2 overall and 0-5-2 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action.

The Grizzlies came to play, but so did the Metropolitan State Roadrunners. Right from the jump the Roadrunners found the back of the net. In the third minute Elli Zimmer scored with an assist from Paloma Teran. The Roadrunners would score two more goals that half.

The second half began with the score of 3-0, with the Roadrunners up. The Grizzlies came out and tried to counter the Roadrunners' first half performance. They were able to hold them off for a while into the second half. Unfortunately, the Roadrunners were able to break through the Grizzlies' defense. In the 75th minute, Kailey Maness scored with an assist from Gabriella Gamboa, making the score 4-0.
The Roadrunners would score two more times that half. The final score of the game was 6-0.

Up next, the Grizzlies travel to Pueblo, Colorado. There the Grizzlies will play Colorado State University Pueblo on October 22nd, at 3:00 p.m. Then, they will return home to play University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Sunday, October 24th, at 1:00 p.m.
