PUEBLO, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies traveled to Pueblo, Colorado to play Colorado State University Pueblo. The Grizzlies will play this one game on the road, then come home to play on Sunday.
The first half started precisely at 6:00 p.m. and the Grizzlies and ThunderWolves came ready to play. The ThunderWolves came out strong and fast and the Grizzlies matched their intensity. Both teams went bac and forth as the score remained at zero for the whole first half.
The second half looked a little different for the Grizzlies. At the start, they held the ThunderWolves to zero. It wasn't until the 57th minute when the ThunderWolves scored. Cara Siegel found the back of the net with the help of Madison Jepperson. The Grizzlies tried to answer back but in the 76th minute Jordin Schaller scored with an assist from Kia Comstock. These two goals would be the only goals of the game as the final score was 2-0.
Up next, the Grizzlies will host the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Sunday, October 24th. Then, the Grizzlies will celebrate their seniors against Westminster College on Friday, October 29th at 3:00 p.m.
