ALAMOSA, Colo.- The No.1 ranked MSU Denver Roadrunners ran their winning streak to 15 straight matches on Friday inside Plachy Hall as they swept the Adams State University Grizzlies with set scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-18.
The Grizzlies, who are now 8-12 overall and 4-7 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, had 29 kills in the contest compared to the 44 by the Roadrunners. Adams State was only able to hit at a .065 clip while MSU Denver hit at a .372 clip.
Shannon Mulkey paced the way for the Grizzlies with nine kills and two blocks.
Adams State will return to action on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. when they host Colorado Christian University, a team they defated in to open up RMAC action in five sets.
