This is the last opportunity for the fans to be able to support two huge players for the Adams State Volleyball program, Shannon Mulkey and Shaelyn Walton.

BIG weekend for standings

With this being the final week of the regular season, the Grizzlies have a lot of play for as they are in a four-way tie for ninth place. The top eight teams in the standings will advance to next week's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament. Both teams the Grizzlies will be playing are in the top eight with Western Colorado sixth and Fort Lewis eighth.

Grizzlies look to keep Skyhawks grounded
The Grizzlies first play Fort Lewis College on Friday, November 12th, at 7:00 p.m. The Fort Lewis Skyhawks are currently 6-14 overall and 6-10 in conference play. They are also on a four-game losing streak. The Grizzlies are looking to push that losing streak to five and get that home win on senior night.

In their most recent game, the Skyhawks had 31 kills, 19 errors, 36 points, and 27 assists. The Grizzlies will have to keep their eye out for Natalie Lambos, Alexis Hobie, Avynn La Rose, and Joviana Romero as they were the game leaders of their last game. In the last matchup with the Grizzlies, the Skyhawks walked away with the victory as they had scored 50 points, had a total of 39 kills, 54 digs, and 33 assists.

Western Colorado to be next up
After senior night, the Grizzlies have their final game at home against Western Colorado. Western is 13-11 overall and 8-8 in conference. They have most recently beat Colorado Christian University 3-0. In that game, they totaled 52 points, 40 kills, four aces, eight blocks, 37 assists, and 72 digs.

The Grizzlies must watch out for their game leaders Emily Mangone who had 13 kills, Kat Finnerty who had four blocks, Hailee Martinez who had 19 assists, and Elizabeth Rupprecht who had 19 digs. Rupprecht is a defensive standout, who has won RMAC Defensive Player of the Week twice this season.
