ALAMOSA, Colo.—The Adams State University volleyball team took on Colorado State University of Pueblo. Adams State went all five sets and gathered their first win of the season. The ThunderWolves won the first set and the fourth set. The Grizzlies took the second set, third set, and the fifth set. The scores were 12-25, 25-21, 25-13, 15-25 and 16-14.

The Grizzlies finished with 53 kills. Lead by
Anna Huggins with 16 then followed by
Cindy Garcia with 15 and then
Shannon Mulkey with 13.
The Grizzlies came out of the gate slow. They fell behind early and could not come back dropping the first set 25 to 12.
The second set the Grizzlies came out on top of the Pack. The Grizzlies went score-for-score with the Pack being tied 21-21 entering a timeout. The Grizzlies came out of the timeout and went on a 4-0 run to end the second set with the Grizzlies on top 25 to 21.
The Grizzlies and the Pack entered the third set tied at 1. The Grizzlies jumped out to a quick 6-2 lead. The Grizzlies continue to add on to their lead making it 14-5. The Grizzlies continue to roar and took the third set from the Pack 25-13.
Adams State tried their best to end the night in the fourth set, but the ThunderWolves did not want to go home. The Grizzlies fell behind early and could not claw their way back. Losing the set 25-15.
The Grizzlies and the ThunderWolves entered the final set to determine the game. The Grizzlies and the Pack were fighting to win, trading points after points. After a timeout, the Grizzlies and ThunderWolves. The Grizzlies ended up on top in the final set 16 to 14.
